“A local state of emergency has been declared in an area where a B.C. tailings pond wall collapsed, sending millions of cubic metres of mine waste water and metals-laden sand into local waterways.”

The B.C. government and the Mine Boss are lying their asses off.  . The real outcome here will be terrifying. I have lived in Southern BC and the once beautiful  Carriboo river system is connected through all of Southern BC and the Okanagan, it this will destroy thousands of acres. The mine Boss says he would drink the water,Id love to help him do exactly that for at least an hour because there are things my children will now never see
